VEGAN OAT CHOC CHIP COOKIES

INGREDIENTS:

  • 150g Vegan butter

  • 1tbsp Golden syrup

  • 220g Caster sugar

  • 100g Oats

  • 150g Plain flour

  • ½ tsp Bicarbonate of soda

  • Dark chocolate chips

 

SERVINGS: 20 cookies

PREP TIME: 15-20 mins

COOKING TIME: 8-9 mins

METHOD:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C.

  2. In a bowl, mix the butter, golden syrup and sugar until fluffy. 

  3. Stir in the oats.

  4. Add the flour and bicarbonate of soda, and mix together.

  5. Stir in a couple handfuls of dark chocolate chips.

  6. Use a spoon to place balls of the cookie dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

  7. Flatten these balls down with your hand or the spoon.

  8. Put them in the oven and bake for 8-9 minutes

  9. Let them cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool.
