VEGAN OAT CHOC CHIP COOKIES
Try these dairy-free alternatives

INGREDIENTS:

150g Vegan butter
-
1tbsp Golden syrup
-
220g Caster sugar
-
100g Oats
-
150g Plain flour
-
½ tsp Bicarbonate of soda
-
Dark chocolate chips
SERVINGS: 20 cookies
PREP TIME: 15-20 mins
COOKING TIME: 8-9 mins

METHOD:

Preheat the oven to 180C.

In a bowl, mix the butter, golden syrup and sugar until fluffy.

Stir in the oats.

Add the flour and bicarbonate of soda, and mix together.

Stir in a couple handfuls of dark chocolate chips.

Use a spoon to place balls of the cookie dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Flatten these balls down with your hand or the spoon.
-
Put them in the oven and bake for 8-9 minutes

Let them cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool.
