OAT MILK

Super yummy with muesli or just by itself!

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ cup oats (50g)

  • 2 cups water (500ml)

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1tbsp maple syrup (optional)

 

SERVINGS: 500ml

PREP TIME: 15-20 mins

SOAKING TIME: 4 hours

METHOD:

  1. Put your oats into a bowl and submerge them in water.

  2. Leave them to soak in a cool area (but not the fridge). 

  3. After soaking, drain the oats and rinse them. 

  4. Add the oats, water, and maple syrup to a blender until it's smooth.

  5. The amount of water determines how thick the consistency of your oat milk will be.

  6. Strain the milk using a napkin or sieve into an airtight container.

  7. Store the milk in a fridge and enjoy for up to 5 days.
